Stephanie Dale started Customised Marketing in 1987 after completing an MBA at Durham University Business School and a Diploma in Marketing, following five years in financial services and two years working in Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Guatemala. Initially the business concentrated on the property development industry providing marketing and PR consultancy services.
In 1994, she also began trainingin two colleges and a university. In 1997 whilst training delegates from FTSE 250 companies in London for two years, she was asked to train lawyers in management and marketing. This lead to eventually working predominantly with lawyers, providing strategic business consultancy advice, marketing tactics and partners' meetings facilitation services.
She became a Law Society (later Solicitors Regulation Authority) Authorised Trainer which means that authorised CPD points can be gained by lawyers receiving relevant training from her.
Stephanie established Customised Professional Development in 1997 to service the legal industry with business advice and Solicitors Regulation Authority authorised CPD courses. As from 31.10.14 the SRA has abandoned authorisation of all legal trainers.
In 2005, Stephanie Dale was
commissioned by The Law Society to write a book: Profitable
Conveyancing, a practical guide for Residential Conveyancers, published
by Law Society Publishing.
1n 2008, she was commissioned to
write: Business Development Strategies for Partners and Fee Earners,
published by the Ark-Group.
